Koogerpark. With its historic buildings, monuments and artworks between the trees this is the prettiest park in the Zaan area. Weather permitting, in wintertime the park is transformed into an open-air ice skating rink.

Molen De Bleeke Dood. Translated this name means a bleak death. This still operational windmill grinds flour from various grains. These are sold at the old mill shop.

Weefhuis. This 17th-century building on the Lagedijk has a front yard with a beautiful sculpture garden. It was built by a wealthy paper merchant who lived across the street.

Molen ’t Pink. Still operational and tucked between the houses of residential area Koog-Zaandijk near the station. The mill grinds oil from linseed for making paint.
